If we want South Africa to become known in the professional scene and south african League of Legends players to get noticed, South African servers are a must. It's quite difficult to make clutch plays in less than a second with 200 ms, and also makes South African players reluctant to play champs that depend on quick reactions.
200 ms sucks ass. Makes me want to go play dota most days. I have R1000+ of purchases on my account, League is awesome and most of my friends prefer its gameplay over DoTa, the only hitch is the ping.
Yes this would be awesome, I feel that a lot more people would play lol if the south africa servers were here.
It would be nice if we could finally get South African servers ... a lot of us play it here

I would really love a league of legends server in South Africa, as long as i will still be able to play with people in EUW
