I'm a taxpayer and I have no children, so if my tax money in part goes to pay for these activities for kids in public school, I feel like ALL children in the county should get to participate! This is all coming about because parents were unhappy with decisions made my the school board so they did something about it! Now the schools are trying to punish the children! Btw, don't forget to vote!

I pay taxes that the school gets a large portion of. Funny to me it was fine for them to participate until you closed 2 schools and lost some students, now you see it as a problem.

As a mother and grandmother I feel that homeschooled children should be allowed to participate in school activities here in Crawford County. These homeschooled children's parents pay taxes like anyone else. Furthermore, they also pay for all school books, computers and everything their child/children require for homeschooling. They should not be denied the right to participate in school sports. Mr. DeRossett is wrong in suggesting that homeschooled children should be denied this right.

Parents of homeschool children pay the same taxes that public school parents do that fund the public schools. Should have the choice to participate in activities.

I think a good question is "Why not allow home schooled students to participate in extra curricular activites?" Their parents are tax payers too. This is good for all kids. It allows home schooled kids to participate and it introduces new faces to our public school kids.

Weather in buildings or home, all should bbe able to participate. As long as grades are kept up to where their suppose to be, to participate in curriculum activities.

I don't have a home school student, but we all are tax payers and these activities are payed for by us parents. It's only fair to allow the's kids to participate.

Just because parents choose to educate their children out of the public school system, doesn't mean they should miss out on playing in sports. It should be open to all those that want to participate

If nothing else, that is just plain unfair to the kids!! They school board should be thinking more about them and less about their pride!
