The 2019 CPW lacrosse season was played at Carle Place High School. The staff opened up their school to us Wheatley students and parents without hesitation. I frequently drove my son to and from practice and many times he was late coming out. When I asked him why, he told me he was in the locker room talking and hanging out with his teammates.
The boys having a COMMON locker room helped build “The Team” concept. This not only added to success on the field, but also in the classroom. The boys wanted to be at practice hence they did not miss school.
For the 2020 lacrosse season it would be nice for the boys to have the same positive experience.
