As a 4th year at Cal Poly Pomona I think this is a great idea. The thought of a location for shows and art by all students (and hopefully local acts in the community) without having to jump hurdles as in the case of the gallery and recital hall is awesome.

even though I do not attend this school, I'm passionate and open to all creative musicians and artists to have a place to share to the public in expressing their own work. Good Luck CPP. Indeed MUSIC IS LIFE!

Venues serve as a breeding ground for creativity and innovation. I feel it is not just a luxury but a necessity for all to thrive off of.

This would be great for all students on campus and off to catch local talent at Cal Poly. It can really bring people together!

CPP wants to be an active campus, rather than a ghost town campus at night and weekends, and a venue might be beneficial. Also, the city of Pomona has an active music scene, with the Glass House and Fox Theater, so any action that aligns CPP with Pomona is good. Our campus is in Pomona, not Los Angeles, let's start embracing our city, rather than ignore the city.

Music is a form of art that is severely undermined by a lack of platforms from which artists can express themselves. Opening a venue and promoting art in all forms is beneficial to a community.

This must happen.

I'm in a band and I would love have a place for us to not only share our music, but to also support other local student bands. We should have a venue to share the art that we create.
