The Confederate Flag should be banned on school property because It is hateful and racist, brings back memories, represents in ignorant ways, is disruptive to the learning environment, in interest of the people, favors the constitution, and is a great way to show that unity is better than hatred. We don’t allow bullying, swastikas, gang symbols, or even our shoulders to be seen so why should we allow this hateful nature? Crown Point Schools should ban the Confederate Flag and all items targeting any race.
