Coyote Abatement Program, La Verne & San Dimas Communities

A pack tried to chase my dog and I but I turned around and ran and yelled at them and they fotrunately ran away.

Please help our communities with this problem. It has become increasingly worse in the last few years.

Boy viciously attack while playing at a park with his dad close by. This one city alone had had 6 confirmed bite attacks on humans in the past year. These are not cute lovable animals. I am a licensed agricultural pest control operator and licensed trapper living in La Verne and my office is in San Dimas - Rodent Guys. I hunt coyotes and take care of them for local farmers. We use high power airguns which are plenty powerful for coyote, deer, elk, etc but much safer in city limits because the projectiles do not travel as far like they do in a traditional gun. We are ready and willing to help with this situation and help immediately. I normally hunt 2-3 times a week on local farms already.

The situation is getting out of control . Please do your job and protect the property of your citizens

The Coyote threat is real and getting worse. I don't feel safe in my own backyard and won't allow my children to play outside (which should be a God given right)! Please do something about these Coyotes!!

We agree something has to be done about these aggressive coyotes.

It's time something was done. I worry about letting my 2 year old grandchild, or my 7 year old grandchild or my dog in my fenced yard without me out there. We have lived here in La Verne for almost 40 years and I have never felt as unsafe in my own yard as I do now. The idea of a fenced yard is to keep out bad things. We need to feel safe again.

Something must be done about these coyotes. If not organized by the City than at least give homeowners the right to protect our homes, pets and children from these vicious animals.

Yesterday, Oct. 4th, 2016 at 7 am, I went out to check my pool heater which is located near our rod iron fence. I felt a presence, so looked up and a coyote was on the other side of the fence, right next to it, just looking at me...I could have reached out and touched him, he was that close. When he knew I had seen him, he did turn the other way and run away. But it was an eerie experience. What if it had been my dog, or my 6 or 4 year old grandson standing there instead of me? Would the coyote have jumped the fence and attacked instead of running away? It's bad enough we can no longer have a cat outside. But now we have to worry about our dog & children too. Please help!

The coyote issue has become a big problem. I have had three of them tracking me, while walking my dogs. I have had them in my yard and recently one running toward us from behind. Please make our neighborhoods safe again.

Coyotes are seen daily on our streets. Our pets and children are not safe.

I agree with the cayote abatement. Cayotes have killed our pets and dumps their waste in our backyards!

I see coyotes all the time walking by my house at any time. They dont look scare of me at all. I have 2 little girls and I cant stop be worried about them.

3 months ago a coyote jumped over my fence, grabbed by little dog, killed her and jumped back over the fence. I was only may 10 or 15 feet away but couldn't save her,
