Dr. Sheila Sarkar has taught us as a Fulbright Senior Specialist at Jamia Milia Islamia University, Delhi, India in 2011. She also volunteered her time in Summer 2012. From the summer of 2011 Dr. Sarkar has been mentoring students, former students and junior faculty of Jamia. Dr. Sarkar has also mentored students from other universities, St. Peter's College, Chennai and Symbiosis Institute of Business, Pune. She will be visiting us in Delhi, India on December 18, 2016. Her flight leaves on December 7, 2016. We strongly urge Cox and Kings staff at the San Francisco office to expedite the Visa process so that she receives it by November 23, 2016. We are looking forward to seeing her again after four years and we certainly do not want her to miss the flight and incur additional financial burden because of Cox and Kings refusal to expedite the visa process. This petition is also signed by professionals from India, USA and other parts of the world who know her personally and would like her to able to visit India.

I have spent my week reaching out to the San Francisco office because Sheila belongs with her students and colleagues here in Delhi. The silence from their team is frustrating but hearing from all of you reminds me why we cannot back down until she has that visa in her hands.

Prof. Sheila is a great mentor and one of my soul inspirations to pursue higher education especially in urban design. I thank her for sharing and inspiring me in my future endeavors. I request you to please expedite her visa process so that she keeps on inspiring the future generations. Thank you
This is a vital issue and must ne addressed immediately. If all other places can issue visa why can this particular centre .
Dr. Sarkar is chairing a crucial event attended by policy makers, researchers, thinkers, practitioners & students. She needs to be in India as per schedule. Pls do help her to hasten up her visa.
I recently worked with Sheila in San Diego, CA on a local campaign petitioning our school board to bring back a beloved teacher at Torrey Pines High School. Thanks to Sheila's extraordinary leadership and guidance, we were able to bring our teachers back to school just ten days following his wrongful dismissal. I support Sheila!
Plz expedite the visa process of ma'am,, she's our mentor and will be a speaker on a seminar on Inclusive cities.

As a three-time participant in Fulbright programs, I know the importance of ensuring that the scholars are able to fully participate in the experience. This experience not only shapes and impacts the scholar, it has the ability to transform hundreds of students. Please work diligently to expedite this matter.
