Our aims are to stop Coventry City Council from scrapping, reducing or tendering out day care provision to PVIs and to maintain the full range of services within Children's Centres in Coventry. We are campaigning to challenge the threat of closures to our Sure Start Children's Centres and Nurseries We the parents friends and families of children attending Sure Start nurseries say expand do NOT cut the provision of day care to all parents who want high quality affordable childcare in Coventry and beyond. We ask the council to think beyond the cuts and lead the way in a national dialogue on day care provision for the under 5's
