Whereas, citing the COVID-19 flu epidemic the state of Iowa without due process or providing sound reason has arbitrarily required certain restrictions placed on businesses in the state. Said restrictions place an undue and unnecessary constriction on all commerce resulting in unnecessary and untennablloss of income for all businesses large and small.

As the state of Iowa is the author of these punitive restrictions it is only right and proper that the state of Iowa should now and retroactively reduce all state property taxes, sales taxes, and all income taxes from the date these restrictions were first decreed.
We therefore petition the Governor and the legislature of the state of Iowa to immediately enact legislation to provide reasonable tax relief for all Iowa taxpayers.
