If funding nursing homes had been a priority instead of bringing foreign freeloaders in and spending wildly, they could have been better prepared.

The horrors that our nursing home residents have been subjected to is wholly unacceptable!!! Those who died needlessly cry out for justice!
Those who are responsible must be held to account!
Now!

The fact is, Gov Mills withheld a little of a million dollars slated for the nursing homes for months. She did this intentionally and needs to be held accountable!

Just like any flu season, every year....the elderly are always the hardest hit. I.e. nursing homes etc.

Mills is destroying Maine’s economy. She’s power mad. She doesn’t care about small businesses. We need to hold her responsible for all the people who lost their business

But would this or any of the deaths in Maine happened if Mills realized there are more parts to Maine than the Southern part and just closed our borders. Why put her faith into Shah, he has left a trail of death behind him.

Nursing Homes should have been the top priority. With an aging population in our State they deserved to be protected like Floridians were. It was reckless and negligent in the part of our Governor.

Abuse of power is a cause for removal. I am unaware of any Constitutional provision giving Governors, Mayors, or even the President the power to arbitrarily shut down businesses or confine citizens. If it's an emergency, the Legislature should AUTOMATICALLY be called into session until the emergency passes.

Larry Lockman is a great asset to Maine.
He is informed and never a fear of taking a stand for what is right for Maine. Vote for
LARRY LOCKMAN for Senate!!

These fatalities are in need of a serious inquiry into what allowed this to happen.

Dr. Shah needs to be terminated for incompetence and putting Maine’s nursing home patients at risk. He is a disgrace to the office and was incompetent in his previous position in Illinois.

Gov. Mills is more dangerous than the virus. She has no clue what she should be focusing on. She only focuses on how much power she can wield, and her CDC guy is a joke. They both should be in jail.

We need to know the ages of those who died, and if they had comorbidity and the virus was the last straw. South Dakota with a similar population and demographic had a lot less death and remained open from the very beginning. Maine has had 5 times more deaths than South Dakota that never shut down. Something is very wrong and Mills and Shah need to be held accountable.
