Many of the magazines that are visible in stores have sexually explicit language and models posed in sexually provocative clothing or poses.
Cosmopolitan and Shape are two examples of magazines that have such covers. In addition, even magazine geared towards teenagers, such as "Seventeen", sometimes have such covers. We do not want our children seeing this. We also do not want our teenagers to think that dressing and acting "sexy" is the only way they can find self-confidence or get attention. We are asking the stores cover these magazines or make them less visible by placing them with other sexually eplicit magazines (like Playboy).
its so annoying how these are right at eye level for my kids when we are in the checkout line. just put them in a plain folder or move them to the back
