I completely agree with this. It's very insensitive to all involved. I went to high school with Courtney and I remember her always being sweet and kind. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that this will be a law soon.

I agree.. When my brother passed in a tragic motorcycle accident, the newspaper posted Ariel shots of his mangled bike and the car, just as badly mangled. It was very hard to see. Family permission should be given for pics like that to be posted..

My sister was in the car as well, and the picture was horrifying to see. Hopefully this law will come to fruition and other people won't have to endure the same pain.

Rediculous! Complete disregard of human life.

I lost my 27 year old brother Adam 2 years ago the day before my birthday. I miss him every single day. If there were a picture in the newspaper to remind me it would kill me more inside then it already does just knowing he isn't here. The times news here in Idaho does this all the time. Maybe with all the bad news in the world their hearts have all just shriveled up and turned black.

I lost my son in an auto accident and we were very lucky that our local law enforcement or media didn't put it up. Only a short story on the news and a story in local paper with family comments..

My daughter was hit and killed by a drunk driver in on January 25th 2013. The scene was in both the newspaper and local tv stations. The online newspaper site even had a place for people to post comments and a lawyer in Dallas used the article on his web page for a discussion topic to help him get clients.

My husband is a volunteer fire fighter and has worked all kinds if seen. He was recently ask to make a video for their annual award banquet as he went threw the pictures he had and was given he was careful to make sure he did not put any that some one might have any connection to. Sadly the media has no heart when it comes to people they don't know. I pray that they are stopped.

I agree so much, my daughter was killed in a truck crash. The newspaper put a picture of her truck on the front page. I have no clue what news stations did.
