Similarly we has a tragic accident in which a family member was brutal killed and another in intensive care. The news media had it all over the tv before all family members had been notified. That is inexcusable behavior and there should be laws against it. The general public does not have the right to know before all those immediately effected are told.

I lost my Brother in a car accident & thinking that posting pictures of the accident is flat out immoral & needs to stop!

They did the same thing with my son's car. It was where I saw it for the first time. So sorry for your loss.

This happened to our family also when my daughter-inlaw was in a tragic accident. It was on the news before we knew it and her children saw the car. The least they could have done was make sure the family knew .

I saw the plane crash that killed 4 of my family member's including my oldest son, on the news before we were ever notified by the police. My 81 year old mom also saw it on the news first. The news just did a follow up piece on the crash in all the news papers two days before Christmas. Good luck, if nothing else, I hope the media understands there are family members to think about.
