The petition:

We the under signed, agree that the reduction in time for deadlines, is causing an extraordinary amount of unnecessary stress to the student body. We therefore formally request the 'immediate' return of original deadlines, in order to relive this unnecessary stress.

While we appreciate the idea of having extra time for dissertations and exam revision, in practicality this is not working. The stress in having between 4 and 7 pieces of work all due in by 17th of march, Will directly affect grades. Work will have to be rushed under extreme pressure and stress, therefore being of a substandard quality and directly affecting grades overall. We are sure that the university will agree that a drop in overall grades is not what we want or what the university wants.

We ask of you to please return the original deadlines for the benefit of the students and the university.
