Would love to try this again or another by Prof Stewart. Great course.

Loved the course. I did not expect to know so much at the end, so I'm pretty excited for the possibility of another course taught Jon Stewart and his team.

Even though I did not pursue a SoA, I watched all the videos and did some of the readings, I felt enriched by learning about Kierkegaard. I loved the different locations. Jon Steward did a wonderful job in laying out his life and his philosophy. I loved it.

The video lectures were filmed in locations where Kierkegaard lived and worked. This enriched the course for me.

The course was very well structured. Professor john stewart know how to deal with various aspects of the philosophy of Kierkegaard with depth and originality. Moreover, he knew bringing philosophy this thinker for our contemporary reality.

I have enjoyed several of the Coursera on-line courses, and found Jon Stewart to be one of the finest instructors.

I see Kierkegaard as a tragic figure, part of the end of the Modern World, much like Nietzsche. And also the first Existentialist - whose writings, like Sartre's, are nearly impossible to understand. The lectures avoid these, and concentrate of Kierkegaard the man, which is fine, but not complete.

Excellent presentation of a complex subject. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A fuller discussion of specific Kierkegaardian works and how his thought should influence future Christian thought would be my interest.

This was such a wonderful experience and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to take part. What a great gift for so many people. The course was very carefully crafted for the 'virtual' world we now live in...I just wonder what Kierkegaard would make of this world?

Thanks for this fantastic course, the video lectures and readings were a great introduction to Kierkegaard's work. The weekly emails and discussion forums helped to create the sense of belonging to a 'real' (i.e. non virtual) class.

Simply great. Really enjoyed every lecture and assignment.

I would be interested in a course in religious existentialism. thankyou
