In this age of social technology it is easy to forget the important things in the name of convenience. It is easy to make checks and balances take a back seat in the name of making a due process easy to fit into our busy schedules. To make compliance fit snugly with efficiency. This is all good in theory, yet in practice it opens the flood gates to commit poll fraud, software errors and violate your political rights; the right to know your vote was properly counted! I am speaking of the Electronic Voting System. No matter what you have heard of this system, when you vote you press a button. As to what this button does after that is the source of great speculation and is not even close to 100% accurate. This is the great flaw of electronic voting; the unknown reaction of the press of a button. This is completely unconstitutional and a huge breach of security in the most important process; Voting. I urge everyone to sign my petition to ban the electronic voting system and make it so we can see our votes being counted. This will not only make our government more honest, but will bring more value to the voting process. To physically see your vote being counted is empowering to say the least. Let us call to our government to count our votes in full view not in a mysterious black box. Thank you.
