I have 3 Grandchildren with diabetes and I know what a strain this puts on their family budgets. Please do something to help them.

Unacceptable. Many things are covered through our wonderful health care system that are ELECTIVES. DIABETES IS NOT ELECTIVE!!!!!!!

Diabetes is very expensive. Medication is required and cannot be stopped. Being a type 1 diabetic for 40 years, I require benefits in every job. Without the benefits I will have an extremely hard time with the costs. It is not fair that drug addicts can receive free syringes yet seniors must pay for syringes. Diabetes is not a choice.

At the very least, cover the costs for Type 1. They can't reverse it like Type 2. Their medications are a necessity of life.

Being a Type 1 diabetic and having Many friends that are as well, this means a lot to me!

I think it's disgusting that anyone has to pay for something that's a matter of life or death.

I have diabetes and 23, so in a couple years will be dealing with trying to figure out how I'm going to make enough money just to pay for my medical supplies and medicine. Lowering costs is essential and would mean I could live a better life and save money for other parts of my future life. Please help!

Agreed! Necessities should be affordable for everyone.
