Costa Rica is so proactive environmentally. I can't wait to vacation there next April! Please hold your ground and don't export these hammerhead fins. The money that tourism brings can continue indefinitely if there is a healthy ecosystem to bring it! Please don't support shark finning by exporting this stash!

Como costarricense, me avergüenza el doble discurso de mi país en el que, por un lado, se promueve como amante y protector de la naturaleza y por otro, permite la exportación de aletas de tiburón (como el tiburón martillo) para abastecer el consumo insostenible de sopa al otro lado del mundo, y todo esto para mantener los jugosos beneficios de un pequeño círculo. Es demasiada hipocresía.
