Unfortunately, this needs to happen as people are too idiotic to know this for themselves.

I've seen enough people complain about being groped at a con and even heard of people taking pictures of people's underwear and breasts without their consent. I'm fairly nervous about my first con let alone having to worry I'll be groped or people will take inappropriate pictures of me.

I think the fact were asking for this to happen says a lot. Cosplay should be about enjoying yourself and having fun without the constant fear or paranoia that something could happen. We need these signs.

I support this 100% I went as Irene Adler to mcm, and was grabbed on my arse a number of times despite being near my boyfriend.

No one should have to feel uncomfortable due to potential perverts. It prevents cosplayers from going as their favourite character whom have slightly more revealing costumes

It's horrible that the convention hasn't already advertised this rule and put up signs about it.

I believe this is a good idea as some people work really hard on there costumes and by being touched when not being asked someone could break parts off or damage parts

I totally agree. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable doing what they love.

this is such an important issue. i'm sick of rape culture being promoted in a girl (or guys) choice of fashion or outfit. just because our arms or legs are revealed doesn't mean you have the right to be inappropriate with us!

Harassment at a con just isn't right, it must be stopped and this is just another step to help completely abolish it (^人^)♥︎
