It really IS NOT CONSENT. This is a serious issue in such a wonderful community. This needs to be stopped.

This is so serious and needs to be spread around as much as possible, it's a shame that we all live in a society where people still believe it's acceptable to touch someone without their consent.

Ok , as old school cosplayer I find the trending problem of harassment very disturbing , in the late 80's I saw my ex g/f take on photographers who were taking inappropriate photo shots of her and her friend's Dirty Pair cosplay , but incidents for the most part were rare . It's sad that some people have used cons as a excuse to act like asses towards the opposite sex.

Cosplayers should be able to feel safe at cons. Although signs won't completely stop the creeps, it's a small step that may eventually lead to doing so.

There have been many incidents of sexual harassment to cosplayers. It needs to be clear that kind of action is not acceptable and cases will be taken seriously if they occur.

I really hope it goes through! Ive been too scared to want to cosplay okami again since it shows so much skin because i just dont trust some con people
