Bodily autonomy and a person's boundaries should always be respected, whether they're dressed in jeans and a T-shirt or a Zatanna costume.

Cosplay is a brilliant thing, but people take it as complete consent for touching and pictures. Always ask before, just like you would with a person dressed normally!

MCM Expo is supposedly a family-friendly event, and yet in cosplay I have been harassed, groped and had inappropriate photographs taken without my knowledge. While I'm an adult now, this behaviour has been going on since I first started cosplaying at 14 years old. MCM should show its support for the cosplayers that attend their event and reinforce the message that Cosplay=/=Consent.

You got nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all and don't judge others by yours standards a cosplay shouldn't make you what you are

I really think its horrible how some people treat cosplayers especially the way they are dressed because no one deserves to be treated that way even its from a man or a woman. No means No and everyone should remember that.

couldnt agree more. This is actually partly a reason as to why I don't cosplay as I have seen many girls being touched inappropriately!

It is important to inform people that this behaviour is not tolerated, and would make people think twice about how they behave at cons.

I totally agree, I am a dude but none the less have been groped in the past. Although the majority do treat me with respect & ask my permission. I find it is just a handful (over enthusiastic/over sugered) that go a bit beyond the line
