Two tower cables at similar sites have proven to be quiet and unintrusive. The wakeboarders use the cable one at a time and only enter/ exit the water at one location, so there is no disturbance to wildlife on the shore away from the small dock. The introduction of cable wakeboarding at this location would increase the diversity of visitors to the lakes and expand the wakeboarders appreciation of natural beauty of the area.

such an awesome idea...we are limited in terms of lake space for watersports in South Wales and if they can do it Pembrokeshire, why can't we do it in Cardiff!?

A long time overdue, its a great way to get access to the water without a boat. Great for kids & students with low budget. Lets face it not everyone likes kicking balls around a field.

Awesome. A loop would be much better, but a straight line is the next best option if space and funds are tight. Check out New Forest Eake Park to see the potential.

A fantastic way to get fit and healthy while having fun. I grew up with one of these by me and would love the same opportunity for my children

Just what Cardiff and South Wales needs, this growing city is falling further and further behind the rest of the country without these modern facilities.

It would be a definite boost to the south Wales area, with negligible impact to the wildlife.

I currently have to drive to either Devon or the Cotswolds to wakeboard. This would boost the local economy and give families some worthwhile time on the water. Caroline, Bristol

Exciting projects are exactly what Cardiff and the surrounding areas need if we are to grow into a world class city. Clearly this should go ahead.
