I like these suggestions. The greatest problem is that bicyclists are not cognoscent of the hwy lights, and cross traffic controlled by the lights. No one of us wants to be caught in the middle of the Hwy. while lame bicyclists think they have priority to ride across the intersection regardless of lights. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way & are polite & have greater awareness of lights & traffic flow.
Bicyclists tend to think they are entitled & frankly don’t give a damn about traffic flow & people in cars stuck in the middle of the highway while they cross. More than once I have yelled to them, that if they are not walking, they can’t be considered pedestrians. It is EXTREMELY irritating!

Current signs on the bike path are very small and sun faded. The Cays intersection is extremely dangerous with bicycles crossing traffic lanes without looking for cars or slowing for cars in the traffic circle and traffic light.

Near misses every day with bicycle riders failing to yield to traffic.

Bicycles do not respect the “yield “ sign. We need a physical way of stopping them like a barrier where they have to dismount.

Extremely dangerous! Cyclists and drivers are both in danger. Please make this a safer place for both.

No brainer but I keep forgetting our city council is reactive rather than proactive

Cyclist should be aware of the dangers of crossing expecting priority. Vehicles have a short period of time to enter the Cays with traffic light, and sometimes unexpected cyclist put in danger their own lives by crossing without yielding or looking for traffic.

Please replace the yield sign to a stop sign or a warning sign as requested.

Yes. It a very dangerous area. Cars cannot see the cyclists and the cyclist do not obey the yield sign and they just go through. Please share. We need a stop sign at the bike path. I have seen multiple accidents. It is dangerous for the cyclists and also for the car drivers if we encounter a cyclist.
