Considering the following 3 points:
1) The City of Corinth doesn't have a governing Water, Storm Water and Waste Water fee structure and usage Policy. Not having one leaves the door open for error and abuse.
2) Corinth's City Hall generated a $1,250,000 surplus following the new water rates introduced in 2011. The City Manager claims this surplus was caused by irresponsible water utility consumption by Corinth residents, which is not true... The surplus is a result of residents being overcharged for water.
3) Corinth City Hall is unable to produce or explain the formula used in fee computation for water utilities. City Hall refers to a "2010 rate study" as the foundation for current water utility fees. This study is proven to contain inaccurate user data that artificially increases water utility fees per household, placing an undue financial burden on Corinth residents.

my bill is absolutely ridiculous lately. how is it possible to have a million dollar surplus and still keep sticking it to us?
tired of just paying whatever they throw at me. fix the rates and give us a refund already.
