Corey is an amazing person and I cannot ever imagine that he’d hurt someone in any way. He has demonstrated his kind heartedness through the conversations we’ve had together and has always been a good friend to all he knows.

I am glad to see the culture of rape being more widely addressed today but it is ALWAYS wrong not to be able to face your accuser & have the opportunity to defend oneself. I think this is another example of right wing religious groups not being truly Christian like & passing judgement. Christians groups are not GOD or a judge in our legal system so be loving, be supportive to both parties until a crime has been established thru our legal system. Even then where is the forgiveness ... hate the sin love the sinner because we are all sinners. No HUMAN is greater or more worthwhile than another & the Christian judgement is what turns so many away from GOD & structured religion.

This is a lie. His mother did not raise him to disrespect anyone or degrade women in any way! He is the most fun loving, respectful, mannerable young man I know. The truth will come to the light. God has the final say!!

Corey Lawrence is an outstanding young man with an passion for his education who wouldn’t jeapordize his future with such negativity. The only justice for looking down on someone is to uplift them in every way possible in their times of need. Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed. I know that this is an obstacle to challenge your faith just continue to have faith and know everything will work out in your favor.

Unpopular opinion!! Ok I'm not siding with anyone on this subject HOWEVER I would like to point out that in the case of a rape - it can be traumatizing for the girl to have to see the guy everyday. In dorms, in classes, whatever the place may be. It's terrifying. And I do believe that if she for sure is lying than he should be allowed back. But I wouldn't want a "maybe rapist" on my campus, living in the dorms, etc. in the case of a real rape, I do support the school's choice. There are other schools he can go to. If I was accused of something I didn't do, I would want to leave anyways because of rumors and other people coming at me over it. I think the school is doing their best under the circumstances. Their job is to keep people safe and there is no way for them to know the truth for sure currently. They're trying their best.
