I Encourage This Because Us As Students Need To Be Able To Express Ourselves Formlessly, Without Having To Conform To The Norm. We Need To Be The INDIVIDUALS That We ARE. And We Can Start By Expressing Ourselves With No Uniform.

There are better ways to get kids to look good as a school. This much restraint on the clothes we wear is just gonna make them wanna rebel more.

This kind of dress code is just goin to put everyone in ISS and get people sent home because many will not comply. And many can't comply considering students bought new wardrobes of school clothes for last year, which were not uniform, and are still paying those off.

I agree with the petition and the the ones who signed it.
They want to make Cordova a great high school but really all they're doing is making both students and teachers hate it. Students have to walk around in uncomfortable clothes 5 days a week and parents have to spend loads of money buying extra clothing when their child's dresser is filled with clothes they already have. They already have to buy almost $100 worth on school supplies, and half decent uniforms cost up to $10 an outfit. Uniforms don't make anything better for the school. They inconvenience the parents when no financial, educational, or personal gain is involved.
The school already has a bad rep, the uniforms dont make anything any better.

There is a difference between limiting what students can wear, and completely taking away their freedom of expression.
Yes, a school should have a certain dress
code, be it for the safety of the students or for maintaining a descent image of the school.
But, students have the right to find their individuality.
Using a uniform will not better the character of the students nor will it change grades.
