In 2015 Disney bought the rights to the Movie Anastasia for a 52.4 billion deal from Fox studios. there has been an age old debate about whether or not Anastasia is a true "disney princess". yes it is true the movie was originally created and produced by FOX but since disney bought the rights this movie now belongs to Disney. It is time to give Anastasia the recognition she deserves. she meets the criteria of being a disney princess

1) she is royalty (a grand duchess)

2) she is a main animated character in a film

3) it did very well in the box office at a domestic gross of $58,406,347

it is time to rightfully Coronate Anastasia as a Disney Princess!
