A community garden would be amazing! These gardens are done in other cities with complete support, why the fuss? These people seem to be the perfect citizen with concern for their community and creating opportuntiies to bond with community and learn to grow healthy, sustainable foods. Let's do this!

A community garden would be nothing but beneficial to our city. This is the type of community outreach we need. My daughter is in a Girl Scout troop that was looking forward to working with Mike and Sheena with the community garden for their Spring service project. So sad that it's been prevented from succeeding. What a shame.

I petition the City of Copperas Cove to grant an area for a Grow Your Own's Community Learning Garden!

A ridiculous example of misusing power.

I am a military home owner in Copperas Cove and Mike was my neighbor before I began to rent my property. He was always an upstanding member of the neighborhood, and was always proactive on trying to make the neighborhood well kept. Mike has my support in his efforts, and I hope he is allowed to help make Copperas Cove community garden friendly. Who is against community gardens anyways? Maybe it is just me, but isn't that something to strive for?

As a Military family homeowner, who now rents our house out, I fully support a community garden for Copperas Cove. Mike was our neighbor when we lived in Copperas Cove and I have never had anything bad to say about Mike. In fact, while my husband was deployed, I knew that if I ever needed help, Mike would be there. I don't really understand why a community would want to stand in the way of someone or group who is trying to better the community and environment. Keep up the great work Mike and group!

I fully support this effort and as a long time Copperas Cove resident I am disappointed in our city!

Yes! We need a community garden - and we shouldn't have to fight opposition of ANY sort from the city to create one!

Doesn't even make any sense. It's private property and it's intended to benefit the community.
