I am totally opposed to this gas station. All the toxic air, pollution, noise, not good for us. Isn’t another gas station being built on Friant, why this one?

Why Granville deletes all disagreeing comments of they have nothing to hide? Granville has some good projects but none have been a gas station or a 24/7 market store selling liquor. They themselves have said in meetings that the only reason, that they are including a gas station and liquor here is profit, and not the community need. People are speaking their opinion and don’t want a store with 24/7 hours or any gas station on Maple. Do you really like to sit and have your dinner or coffee next to a gas station? Would you want the “Market” to sell liquor until 2 am?? We need to speak up now. That’s what they are proposing to build if you read their flyer and documents. Yes, it may include some nice shops too but homeowners are strongly against this unnecessary gas station because It makes no sense for this area. Granville would never allow other developers to build a gas station in their neighborhood but now they seem to benefit from it

This project is going to be STUNNING! I really cannot imagine a more complimentary shopping center to serve this beautiful neighborhood – the wide-open spaces and amenities are perfect for what is planned. The area is very lucky to have Granville putting its creative hand, talents, and investment to this property for the betterment of everyone who lives here. It has been a vacant dirt patch for years! We know Granville, and their care for this area and ability to create beautiful communities is hard to top. I LOVE this!

Granville doesn’t abandon their communities. All this talk about liquor stores at gas stations turning the community into an ugly unsafe place is not the case here. Granville is responsible for turning many of our impoverished areas in downtown into safe beautiful communities that continue to flourish even today. Granville has a great reputation and couldn’t ask for a better local caring company to lead this project.
