Copper Mountain WSA

This is the only comment that I've seen from you Kami. This petition is for Making Copper Mountain WSA, Wilderness. The Public is ALL 300,000,000+ people in the United States. That includes City people, Farmers, Ranchers and whomever else is a legal tax paying citizen

Twice I’ve commented and twice my statement has been deleted by editors/admin. My question now, is this a fair petition taking both sides’ comments, or is it a one-sided, deceitful attempt at forwarding the agenda of one small interest group? Since my comment contained nothing lewd or profane I can only assume I am correct. And that when this post is also deleted that I should go public on social media.

Keep wyoming and it’s environment the way it is!!!

Please keep this area wilderness. We do not need this area turned into a trash bin like so many other areas have turned out to be like.

The multitude of caves in the Copper Mtn area shelter an amazing array of owls, bats, even deer shading up in the summer sun.

Please keep Copper Mountain as wilderness and do not allow introduction of ORV into this area. We have fewer of these special places left. Let's keep Wyoming wild!

We cannot lose any more wilderness study areas at the expense of persons that will not respect the land as it was meant to be.

Make this area a Wilderness and keep it wild. Not nearly enough places like it.

Keep the wild, wild!!

Wyoming's sacred landscapes are vital for non-human survival.

There are plenty places to ride atvs on existing roads around there, Copper Mountain should remain protected from motorized traffic.

I don't think this should ever be opened for ORV's . This is a rugged beautiful place where wildlife abound and the folks living near would lose the peacefulness and garbage would be everywhere. I say no to this and let it remain as it is.

Please preserve Copper Mountain, allow it to remain in its natural state and condition. Humans may have good intentions, but ecosystems and habitats are fragile - some places are best left unavailable to access (fueled vehicles, whether two, three, or four wheels).

In my humble opinion, and even though its not popular, all WSAs should convert to wilderness, or at a minimum, be maintained as they are regardless of the designation.

There's few places like this left. Leave it alone!

We should be preserving this land, not ruining it.

There are plenty of other places that can be designated for off road recreation that are not infringing on the peace and quiet of the ranchers and residents of Copper Mountain. Between Casper and Shoshoni there are miles and miles of “badlands” perfect for off-roading and won’t disturb pristine and quiet mountain areas.

Leave Copper Mountain alone this land was used for grazing for and for wild animal to live on.We don't need another campsite where off road vehicles can destroy the land and turn it into a dumpsite. This land is here for natural resources.

One of the few places left that has had very little human activity. Where deer, sage grouse, chukar's, antelope, and sometimes elk can thrive during harsh winters. Spring time clothes this area with beautiful flowers and baby sage grouse, chukar, antelope and deer. This area is one of the most peaceful places I ever been, its one of Wyoming's Wonder's. It can be enjoyed by hiking or horse back. Lets not destroy this area by allowing orv use including rock crawlers. There are no roads or orv trails in this area. My suggestion is make it Wilderness!!! It Qualifies!!!

This area is to delicate and primitive to allow road bikes and all terrain vehicles. We hope that they will realize this area will be completely destroyed if it becomes a playground.
