I didn't realize they didn't allow volunteers. To me this is a no brainer. Growing up we use to scoop the litter and play with the cats. Seems odd to deny that. Plus this would be great for middle schoolers/teens looking to get involved in our community who have a passion for animals. Or for kids who love animals but there is an allergy in the family.

My 11 year old dog was adopted at a shelter in College Station where I volunteered. Bringing people into the shelter is a good thing.

So many good things can come of this for our community, kids and the lives of the animals. This should be a no brainer. If we can spend millions of dollars creating a safety park then why not teach our kids Compassion of caring

I am curious as to how much interaction there is between the shelter and the Coppell Humane Society, which I understand is primarily volunteers working out of there homes.

I support the formation of a volunteer group for animal services. It would benefit the animals and the participants.

Let us Coppell citizens volunteer and serve our cominity and its sheltered animals. Free labor, service to our cominity and animals, there's no question this is a positive for all!
YES!!!
