Hi - I go surfing in Sligo regularly, often our weekends there are called off however due to lack of surf or onshore winds, most of my friends who surf also mountain bike, if there was a trail centre we could arrange our weekends and go surfing if the waves were good or mountain biking if they were not. I think the there would be a lot of people in this situation and the trails would help attract tourists to the area.

The north west part of the coutry is a stunning place for just about any outdoor activity and turism in general and this investment would bring a huge boost to the community on many levels. Well done to all involved!

This fantastic facility would not only be used by local MTB enthusiasts, but families. It is also exactly the type of facility which would encourage family and friends who live abroad to come and visit the area. Thanks for all the hard work Steering Group!
