As someone who travels for a living I can report that 5 years ago when asked where I was from by various nationalities it was met with blank faces. but in the last few years I say it and I hear guys tap responding oh you guys get some sweet waves there or even I was there last year to check it out. trust me the popularity of our county is on the rise and extreme sports tourism is the answer. Please get behind this project and indeed any other sports projects and let's display our challenging, rugged and beautiful county to the world. The demand is there and our great outdoors holds the key. best of luck lads, 100% behind you.

Great, we have three mountain bikes in our house and two being used by under 10s, based in ww, but would def be up for regular trips if this was a option.

Great initiative for the island of Ireland not to mention just the Northwest, mountain biking is a quickly growing sport for people of all ages, biking holidays, and weekend breaks becoming more popular which can only mean bringing huge amount of visitors to Ireland and the Northwest, which for all tourism related business can only be welcomed. With trails suitable for all ages and abilities this should help grow the sport of biking in Ireland also, and by extension all forms of cycling, which will help all cycling related businesses in general. From chatting to Northern Irish friends of mine they are excited to see the potential of another place to ride in Ireland, especially with the good reception the trails north of the border have gotten. Not even to mention the possibility of another stop worth visiting while on the Wild Atlantic Way.
