He seemed to be the missing piece the Bill's needed in the 60's to win the championship. Do the right thing. Put Cookie's name up so other Bill's fans who never got to see him play along with Cookie's family can enjoy one of the greatest running backs ever.

Christopher Harrison Saban

He is my grandfather. I'm son of Tom Saban. He earned this right to be on the wall. Lets get him there

Colleen Vastola

Two consecutive AFL championships. The only league championships in a major sport in Buffalo history. Enough said. Add Lou Saban to the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame. Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AddLouSabanToBuffaloBillsWallOfFame

I had the opportunity of talking with Cookie back in 2002. We had a great discussion on his career and the 1965 AFL All American Boycott and how he played a major roll. And it just so happened that "Bullet" Bob Hayes which whom was close friend; I was able to understand what Cookie had been through. As a matter of fact Cookie is the one that contacted me to inform me that Bob was near death and to contact his family as soon as possible. I’ll never forget our conversations. A true athletic Cookie was but most important he was man with great integrity.

Cookie may not have all the statistics but he was the best runner the Buffalo Bills ever had. Equally, he may not have all the fame but he was one of the best runners pro football ever had. Everyone should know the name "Cookie Gilchrist".

He should have been put on the wall of fame during his lifetime. He also belongs in the pro football hall of fame

I, too, believe it is time to put aside the issues that have kept Lou and Cookie off the Wall. Both were integral to the Bills rise to the top of the AFL in 1964 and 1965. What a great 50 year celebration of the first league title ever for the Bills it would be to have Lou and Cookie take their rightful places on the Wall of Fame.

Both deserve to be on the Wall of Fame. The Wall will never be complete without them.
