Please do not allow this beautiful piece of art deco architecture be demolished for yet another block of flats on marine drive. It is criminal to allow the demolition of a piece of local history.

Planning consent in Conwy that includes demolition of older buildings seems to be granted far too freely. The demolition and replacement of any building carries a huge environmental load in terms of carbon emissions and this is not acceptable given that we are trying to reduce, not increase, carbon emissions. In addition, it would be cultural vandalism to allow the demolition of such a significant piece of architecture.

It would be a tragedy if such a beautiful example or art deco seaside architecture was lost forever.

We need to wake up to the importance of our 1930s architecture. So much already lost or ruined. Let's not the the generation who allowed this to happen.

Please don't demolish this house. This structure is historically significant and has contributed to local character for decades. Why allow for these priceless architectural marvels to be picked off simply for cheaper by the dozen flats? This unaffordable housing can be built elsewhere without consequence. Once these houses are gone, they are gone- and the future suffers for it. History is so much more than cheap land.

£80million has been spent on restoring a tower in England somewhere. Wales should not destroy our heritage!

This beatuful art deco building must be kept. It would be detrimental to demolish and replace it with modern cheap rubbish.
