The library is an important part of life to so many of us not just for entertainment but for education and moving to the council offices is stupid as it would be too small for purpose and it is not as central, this is just another way this half bent council ride roughshod over the people it is time we got rid of the councils who are just in it for themselves and that is the lot of them.

I find this decision discusting the building should be used as a library public subscription paid for this

My daughter uses this library, losing it would definitely be a shame. She prefers holding a book, rather than all this online readinf or EBooks. My son growing up I want him to have the same options.
I completed so many hours of homework here myself. Through high school, college and university.

This wonderful library is the heart of Colwyn Bay. It must stay as it is. Please don't take any more of our heritage?

Many happy memories of searching for new worlds amongst the pages an shelves when I was younger. An important town resource that should not be lost

This is a marvellous library and is an asset to the community young and old. I still use it regularly. It's printing services are vital to those for whom a home printer is not affordable.

Fond memories of using the library while parents shopped, again for school and college projects, over 50yrs of use. Conwy Council can only see it's sale value ??.

Before the pandemic me and my family used this library all the time. I can't afford to buy books new for everyone and the Library makes it possible to keep my family reading.

I think it is a very poor decision to consider closing the current library to replace it in the new monstrosity on the Conwy borough County Council building in Colwyn Bay. The existing building was build by public money and is a lovely building which serves the community well.

As a resident of Mochdre, I used the library in Colwyn Bay on many occasions, I found it essential when applying for jobs. The staff we’re always professional and helpful. I strongly believe that libraries are an important part of our community.
