Conwy Council Please Do Not Close Or Move Colwyn Bay Library

Libraries are very important and it would be disappointing to close this library.

We need books more than ever. Please keep the library open.

The library is a main source of education for all ages and being in the centre of town and easily accessible with provision for disabled access it must be kept. Today’s modern technology is also available there and the reference library is excellent. It’s other areas are available for hire for various activities. The current building should remain in use as it is at present,

When Covid restrictions relax community hubs like this library will be more vital than ever before! People have been in isolation for over a year and this library will be vital for many. When Conwy Town have gained a multi million pound library, how can it be justified to close this town centre library?

Without this Library i would of never been able to Pass my college courses, look for a new home in a time of need and also be able to apply for benefits. It's also an important place for those with no accsses to computers to be able to speak to loved ones, help with universal credit applications and also learn about the many things of this world. not to mention sharing so many wonderful books, dvds and videos for all age groups. And finally a way for my Disabled sister to be able to get about and keep busy ay but also has access to a elevator and easy disabled access (disregarding the actual road and street path layout including the sighn poat that blocks off the pavment pavement..) If you value your community and wish to save some history and a place of importance sighn the petition.

It is the most amazing building and should be kept as library for everyone to enjoy.

The library offers a phenomenal service to the Colwyn Bay and surrounding areas from the young to the elderly. Fund and retain this valuable resource

Colwyn Bay Library is a cornerstone, lose it and nothing will ever replace it!!!!

A beautiful building and such a lovely library needs to be a fantastic hub for the community

Leave it where it is, put the hub in the new giant building and fix the old. Simples!

We were told, before the Coed Pella offices opened, that the library was moving there so I guess it's a fait accompli.

I remember using the computers here when I was younger for revising my gcse subjects. I also played a gig in the library once.

A library is a place for the whole community. The community has this iconic building at its heart.

Please do not take this away from Colwyn bay. It is the only place I feel like home due to being in a hostel. I have everything there for my college work with books and computers. The staff are lovely and helpful. Please do not take the library away.

I use this library and the building is fine for a library, there’s absolutely no excuse to move it
