Conwy Council Please Do Not Close Or Move Colwyn Bay Library

Please keep our library

the receivers of this petition should note that many people cannot sign this due to lack of access to the internet but will be more than willing to protest in person, should that be necessary.

Do not take this essential service and community hub from the Bay. Before covid the library was a lifeline for many and it will be again.

Is the Council hell bent on stripping everything out of Colwyn Bay and leaving it even more of a ghost town????

A disgrace close Porth Eirias which has been total waste of money

This library means so much to so many people. Local people must be consulted before these types of decisions are made.

Please preserve the existing library building and support the library service. Colwyn needs its historic buildings as much as it needs free access to books and learning. ♥️

This is a lovely library, friendly warm and welcoming. My first choice of local libraries. Moving it to the new building would be a mistake.

Please don't close the library - it's in an ideal location as it is central in Colwyn Bay.

Would never go to the library again if it moved to Coed Pella. Was bad enough when the housing benefit office was upstairs in the library and you could hear people's private business. Now to get rid of the library and bay learning will crush Colwyn bay forever.

Dont move the library

I would rather pay my council tax to this building than fix Porth Eirias roof. The library is needed in the community and we as a family use it weekly even during lockdown. As a family we have never used porth Eirias and never will.

All people young and old ought to have free access to books, libraries are key for this, please do not move or close Colwyn Bay library

Having a library space allows for culture, education and fun for individuals as well as families and children. It's a place specifically there to enjoy leisure and learning, and having this building in Colwyn Bay is really important for the community!
