Conwy Council Please Do Not Close Or Move Colwyn Bay Library

A community hub should be the warm welcoming space which already exists in the library we have. The proposal to move it is an excuse to justify the soulless monstrosity of Coed Pella.

We need to save this building. It’s a place where we can encourage reading for learning. How on earth can a new building like Porth Eirias need a new roof, and it’s currently lying empty and unused.

This library was such a huge part of my childhood and my children gave e joyed visiting it too. Please save it!

Libraries are there to help those that don't have access to books or computers. I often use them for printing especially when I was unemployed. If they want more patronage to the library, perhaps offer more exciting activities there like book clubs for teens or even creative writing classes. Instead of closing try reimagining how the space can be used to get more people through the doors

A library is an important resource for any town. Colwyn Bay library is a beautiful building and should not be replaced by a soulless building which nobody wants.

Libraries are an essential resource in any town. They not only provide books, they are a hub for social interaction and research. In some families, the library is their only way of getting access to books and the internet.

There are precious few amenities in the area as it is, council finds money for all sort of unnecessary little ventures, reduce bin collections WHAT ARE WE PAYING COUNCIL TAX FOR. “ HANDS OFF”
