Beautiful building and very useful for books /photography and computer. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Very little left in Colwyn Bay. Would have to travel to Llandudno.

The library building was built by public subscription and should remain as a library.

If you value your services, you need to work out among Labour, Plaid, and LD party members which single candidate to stand to beat David Jones. This is the only way to beat first-past-the-post.

keeping this library for the community is so important. The council should not be able to take away from local people like this.

Please do not move Colwyn Bay as it is such an asset where it is now and so convenient for the users and much appreciated. From a former library assistant in the 1960 s.

I share the concerns of local residents regards the proposed relocation of of the library service in Colwyn Bay.
I have made representations to the local authority to express my strong opposition to these plans.
This is a well used and much loved historic asset. We must ensure that it remains open for future generations to enjoy.

The library is a much needed community resource and many people, of all ages, benefit from the library.
LEAVE OUR LIBRARY ALONE. It is a disgrace that closure is being considered. Give your heads a wobble! You may not value our library but many Colwyn community members do! Do the right thing. The council should be supporting and promoting library services NOT disbanding it. The library is an well established and iconic building in Colwyn Bay and part of its heritage. The library is so much more than just 'getting books'.....it provides so many different things to so many different people. I implore you to KEEP OUR LIBRARY.
Thank you.

What is hoped to be gained by closing down a valuable community resource? The children from the local nurseries enjoy their visits to the library, we need to educate our children that not all research is done digitally.

The library was built with a grant from the Carnegie Foundation and the people of Colwyn Bay raised the rest of the money to build, furnish and stock it. During the pandemic it has been a life-saver for me and for the mental health of all of us who use the library services.
