Can't afford it? Funny how if this work were being built in the Bell Isle area or on Conway Road area there is always enough to afford it...

While the wall will keep noise from our neighbor hood it will also keep our city beautiful and our residents much safer while . It's a small price to pay to keep a much needed neighbor safe and secure while keeping our city beautiful.

Rather than increasing the road, there needs to be a plan to make the road MORE pedestrian friendly. Getting from the neighborhood to area shops is very dangerous. Although many in the community rely on non-motorized vehicles to move around. Please build better bike lanes/sidewalks!

This underprivileged yet sturdy neighborhood of modest homes needs a wall along Hoffner to (1) lower the traffic noise, and (2) greatly improve the viewshed from the road. zoy
Our community has been ignored for years by the state when it comes to the impact of their projects on our community. I remember attending every meeting of the two projects concerning the SR436 widening. The fight that was was fought and initially lost in getting a traffic light at Turnbull & SR436 is an example of the state response to our community. Thankfully the City of Orlando and the property owners on the east side of SR436 came to our rescue and a light was installed by the city. How much more must we be ignored before the state will hear our voice that we too are allowed to have the same quality of life and use and enjoyment of our properties and homes as other neighborhoods. So far we continue to have our use and enjoyment negatively impacted by the results of state projects. Noise, trash, vehicle lights to name a few originating from state roadways continue to negatively impact us and our property values.

The wall the Conway Acres residents are requesting would be a great addition to our community. They have had to endure years of increasing traffic, accidents, etc in that area and need the wall not only for aesthetics but for safety as well. Thank you for your consideration of this project.
