I have had tonsillitis 12 times in the past 3 years, and my doctor says it’s a risky surgery to get my tonsils removed as it may cause bleeding but my question is how can people walk into a doctor and be accepted for gender transition surgery or plastic surgery etc which is not necessary in a medical sense but far more dangerous. I am willing to pay as much as I have to through private healthcare so why are they saying no. For my birthday I would like to get my tonsils out. It would make me very happy
