What a great idea for a run down old place that hasn't been used in years, I would definetly go for a cruise down there for a bite to eat

What a brilliant idea, I dont see how it is a safety issue with the amount of cars that already stop there.

Love the idea! Id be a local gisborne south customer. Its about time someone used this place other than an area to store things. It was a great service station as a kid and itll be just as good as a cafe.

A safety hazard, really VIC Roads!? With careful planning, which is intended, how is it any more of a safety hazard than the myriad of VIC Roads signs along that stretch of road… rest stops, emergency lanes (yes folks, that’s an emergency lane!), forthcoming exits, speed limits, Fire Danger Rating, along with real estate boards and local business boards, all of which can take a drivers attention off the road. The site has been an eyesore for years! If it was occupied, it wouldn’t used as a dumping ground. It would add to the wonderful attractions in the area. Stop putting up road blocks (pardon the pun). It is a moot point anyway!
