Hello Neighbors! I'm sure you have received a postcard from the Town of Collierville about an upcoming development application request DD-20-018. This gentleman is trying to put a convenience store and gas station right in our backyard, at the NW corner of Collierville Rd and Byhalia Rd. It will be less than one mile from the main entrance of Cypress Grove Subdivision. This would be visible from the front of our neighborhood, will bring traffic, and most definitely put us all at a higher risk for crime. It could also negatively affect the values of all of our homes, as new buyers will have these same concerns. It is also known that people who live or work near gas stations may be exposed to toxic chemicals in the air, soil and drinking water. The town hall meeting is scheduled for September 14th at 6pm. Please sign this petition if you feel that this development could negatively affect you and your family. Let's keep our neighborhood as safe and beautiful as possible!
