On May 14, British Columbians will assemble in Victoria to educate and inform our provincial elected representatives about the urgent need to enhance our control of Lung Cancer. I will be there to speak to officials with this petition in hand. Each signature collected is vital and powerful. It\'s your voice speaking out loud and calling for the change so desperately needed! Lung Cancer kills more people every year than all the other major cancers combined. In our country and throughout the globe. Lung Cancer kicks the trend of all other Cancers, patient death tolls are rising & their quality of life continues to be appauling. We have what we need to ease so much suffering. Now we have an audience for our united voice. Let\'s use it! My mom & her sister lost their life to this disease. My mom\'s other sister continues to agonize through her remission. Almost an entire family gone before 60. I cannot leave my 5 year old daughter the same way. Please help add more purpose to the lives of those who have died, those who are currently fighting, those yet to be diagnosed. WE CAN DO THIS!! Innovation that comes from BC, doesn\'t remain here, it will help the global fight on lung cancer and spring the governments of the globe into action!
