I'm living in Heritage Hills. I got a lot mosquito bites this summer when I went to my back and front yard even I have put a powerful mosquito killer device in backyard and use bug avoid spread whenever I'm getting in my yard. Those mosquitoes become so crazy now. My wife and daughter are totally scared to get out of the house to the yard for anything.

Allergic reactions and spread of diseases are of huge concern here.

I live in Heritage Hills. For most of the past 14 years summers were pleasant. In the last two years the environment has changed and the bug problem has got out of hand. As an Amune Suppressed person this growing problem is a real risk for me. In a neighbourhood where people helping people is supposed to be a hallmark why is there so much negativity from neighbours, the City and residents of other areas of Ottawa towards people asking for help?

I am opposed to this petition. You folks chose to live in a community close to a large water area. Now you've discovered that mosquitoes live there too. If you are seriously concerned about your children's health, you should move to an area where there are fewer mosquitoes.

I have lived in Heritage Hills for the past 14 years. the mosquito problem has become significantly worst in the last 2 years. Mosquitoes are dangerous not only for humans but also for dogs including service animals.

These pesky (and dangerous disease carriers) mosquitos are making walking (getting exercise) within our neighbourhood and enjoying the great outdoors impossible.

I have lived here in Heritage Hills for 13 years, same house, and the problem started last summer. I have a beautiful garden/year but cannot sit to enjoy or even weed. It was not the case in the first 11 years.

I got up 5 times and killed 7 Mosquitos. And got countless mosquito bites which big lumps all over me. This really worries
Me as Mosquitos carry virus around and it spreads.
We rely on the government to put some measurement. I travelled to the States around the same time, it is way better. So we can learn how they managed this issue.
Thanks,

City assistance is really required. Its is very anoying to be outside and enjoy our deck and outdoor spaces.
