Continuum School Harlow is set to close on 22nd July 2011. This is a devastating blow to our students. All of our children have statements of Special Educational Needs with regard to Emotional, Social and Behavioural difficulties. They have come so far and we have recently gone from inadequate in our OFSTED in July 2010 to Good in the inspection in March 2011. Our students have been written off as not very good but we have 3 of them sitting GCSES in the summer. It is a travesty that this opportunity will not be available to future year groups.
