Mrs. Ray is the best choice for Fernbank Elementary School.

We enthusiastically support Ms. Ray as principal for Fernbank Elementary. She has been a valuable member of the teaching community for many years. She has provided excellent leadership during a year of transition. Her experience and decisive leadership will lend stability as we welcome further change and growth.

Ms. Ray is an ideal choice to lead Fernbank into its next phase of development. She is thoughtful, smart, and genuinely committed to providing a superb education for every child who passes through Fernbank's doors. We believe that she lives her life in accordance with the IB principles, making her a great person to take the torch from Mr. Marshall. We would support her unequivocally.

The faculty and staff at Fernbank Elementary have been resilient through many challenging transitions in recent years and are embracing the opportunities presented by the temporary redistricting. Ms. Ray will be an excellent principal. She has the vision to move FB forward, the knowledge base to support the needs of the school and the leadership skills to ensure FB continues to shine as an outstanding school within the Dekalb County family.
