Help us petition against the removal of the 40-minute flex period due to some students skipping or leaving campus early. However, for many of us at Ashley High School who use flex responsibly, it is a crucial part of our day. Student-athletes rely on it to catch up on missed work, which helps reduce stress and maintain strong academic performance. It also allows students to participate in important programs like Eagle Buddies and meet with clubs that wouldn’t otherwise have time to gather. Removing flex would unfairly impact the many students who benefit from it because of the actions of a few.
