Continue with Garden Waste Collections in Cardiff

Please continue to provide the monthly service through the winter. Lockdowns are having an effect on mental health and being out in the fresh air and working on the garden really helps but not if we have nowhere to put the waste. 4 months is much too long please consider bimonthly

I feel that the Council is using the pandemic as an excuse to stop the garden waste collection. It would normally be reduced to one collection a month over the Winter months, which was bad enough but to have no garden waste collection until 2021 is ridiculous. The increase in fly tipping that has occurred is because the Council are constantly reducing their disposal collection service, a false economy as they have to clear so much illegally dumped waste and I'm sure garden waste dumping will escalate.

One more collection would really help as we finish preparing our gardens for the winter

Totally out of touch. Our bin is full every time it's emptied. What are we supposed to do all winter? No car, so do I catch the bus to the closed recycling centre, except there is no bus that runs anywhere near it!

There are lots of people that don’t drive and so therefore are unable to visit the refuse centre. They rely on this service so they can continue to garden throughout the winter for their mental health

Monthly green waste collections need to be reinstated as there is still garden waste ,leaves and tree/ shrub clippings to dispose off and not everyone can get to the tip when it reopens . More fly tipping may result.

I have trees in the garden which haven't shed many leaves yet and lots of garden foliage to remove. I need a green bin service

The green bin has already started filling again with much more to come and we've had our last collection. Thanks goes to all our refuse collectors, their work at this difficult time is much appreciated

Throughout the winter months we really need a collection service to deal with leaves please can we have a monthly service

Disgusted by Council decision. We pay enough Council tax For the service we will be get so I’ll think about withholding part of this year’s payment demand.

We need collections as the leaves are falling in abundance and the bedding plants are still in flower

To not empty bins when all the leaves are falling is madness
